This composition is actually about 12 years old...
I asked master musicians David Bodie (drums) and Martin Keith (bass) to essentially do 3 improv takes playing along with my guitar composition and a click...Dave tracked the drums up in my attic with my very humble drum setup...and Martin played along at my computer desk....both of their last runs are what wound up on this version....far from over produced....just raw, live in the moment playing from two players I cherish as musicians and friends....this track winds up sounding like something that wound up on George Martin's cutting room floor after recording Mahavishnu Orchestra's Apocalypse ...(sans Sir George)...IMHO

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes. Stephen Roberts

Thank you for this excellent release . This indeed compliments the three earlier releases of soundscapes from the
Stickmen concerts . Please keep up the
good work .
